In Our Backyard focuses on human trafficking occurring in the United States year round. We collaborate with government entities, law enforcement and other non-profits to raise awareness and assist in recovery of victims, arrest and conviction of traffickers and prevention of trafficking victims. We work throughout the United States year-round.

  • Learn the signs of human trafficking and put the National Human Trafficking Hotline in their cell phone, 888-373-7888.

  • Read the book "In Our Backyard" and learn about all of the forms of human trafficking. Become empowered to host "awareness" meetings in your neighborhood, place of business or place of worship to help others learn about human trafficking and what each person can do to prevent it. 

10 MONTHS
  • Make a commitment to do volunteer work with a local organization.

  • Organize an event to raise awareness about human trafficking.

  • Organize a fundraiser for a credible organization who helps fight human trafficking.
